Houston Firearms Classes
Beginner’s Course: $125
We offer a variety of firearms students can choose (2 per class for free). Students do not need to own any firearm when booking beginner’s class. Eye protection and electronic hearing protection are available for beginner’s class.
Beginner Handgun
We offer a variety of semi-autos and revolver.
Beginner Shotgun
We offer a pump and a semi-auto shotgun.
Beginner
Semi-auto Rifle
We offer AR-15 platform, as well as other semi-auto options.
- Ammunition is not provided, students can bring their own or purchase through TXD Training. Details will be provided upon booking a class.
- Class time is dependent on the range, at least 2 or 3 hours depending on cease fire periods.
- Maximum amount of students per class is 4.
Defender’s Class: $300
Learn and Master Firearm Defense at
Your Own Pace at TXD Training Academy
We do not offer firearm rental for this course simply for the fact that at this level, students should’ve been comfortable with a firearm of their choosing that they already own and train with.

For a more immersive and personalized experience, we offer a personalized training solution for 1 year duration. Monthly fee is $100 and students will get:

Emergency First Aid: $200
So, you survived the emergency encounter. Police and EMS are on their way. But you find yourself injured and in need of emergency medical attention that could not wait for the first responders. Can you render emergency aid to yourself and/ or family members? This is an often overlooked aspect of self/ home defense. Use of life saving medical supplies has been known to improve chances of survival in the battlefield overseas and domestic violent encounters.
Home security assessment: $250
Have you ever wondered if your home is built with safety in mind instead of cost consideration (sub par design or materials)? We have a certified Crime Prevention Specialist who would come to your house (in full light and low light condition) and conduct a survey. A detailed worksheet will be provided on how to further harden your home.
LTC Classes
LTC classes will be available in the near future.
LTC Classes

Laws pertaining to carrying a firearm and shooting qualification.
LTC Prep course
$75
LTC has a range component. Instructor recommends taking the beginner’s course or some sort of training before taking the LTC course.
Licensee who fails the shooting qualification will have one (1) more chance to pass. Failure to meet qualification for the second try will prevent licensee to be licensed.
We offer LTC prep course to familiarize the licensee with LTC shooting qualifications.
LTC Prep Course + LTC
$150
Combine both classes to receive a $25 discount.
LTC Prep course and LTC class will not be held at the same day. LTC Prep course will be completed first.

We are committed to helping all of our students feel confident with firearms. If a student doesn’t pass their assessments with 70% or higher, we will work closely with them until they do.
