Firearm Rental

TXD Training offers firearm rentals in the following categories below. Our rental fee covers multiple firearms as described (except the Barrett M82A1) and comes with reasonable amount of ammunition. How does it work? Select the rental package that you want, complete the waiver, submit customer registration and we will meet you at the range with the rental package.

For normal circumstances, we will meet at American Shooting Center (ASC). TXD Training is not affiliated with ASC, but it is one of the well-known ranges in the area. Rental time is 1 hour or after out of ammunition, cease fire time will not affect the 1-hour actual shooting time.

Additional time and/ or ammunition can be purchased at the range:

$20 for extra 30 minutes, $40 for an extra hour. Rental fees are applicable to the firearms, not the number of shooters. Renter can bring other shooters (limit 2 extra persons – 3 shooters total) at no extra cost. Everyone needs to register and complete waiver.

22 lr (long rifle) caliber is known to have low recoil. Firearms in this caliber tend to be lighter and smaller, perfect for beginner and children.

All of our 22lr firearm rental fee is $50/ hour

Rules

Follow range rules:

No rapid fire, 1 shot per second.

Listen to announcement over the Public Announcement system

Shooter will hang their own targets

Follow TXD Training safety rules

Must be legal to own firearms in Texas
(not a prohibited person)

1 shooter at a time

No horseplaying

No posing and compromising muzzle awareness for picture taking.

Failure to adhere to rules will result in early termination of the rental session. No refunds.

Damaged equipment

• Any damage incurred during proper use and normal wear and tear will not be held liable to the renter.

• Any damage incurred during IMPROPER use (horseplay, un-necessary roughing the firearm, carelessness) will incur extra charge to the renter depending on the severity of the damage.

• TXD Training and its staff will not be held liable for any injury to the renter caused by improperly loaded factory ammunition (excessive pressure) or defective factory manufacturing process of the firearm (bad metallurgy). TXD Training will help renter document the incident and act as a witness for any further legal action against the manufacturer or other third party.

We are committed to helping all of our students feel confident with firearms. If a student doesn’t pass their assessments with 70% or higher, we will work closely with them until they do.
